MY STYLE:: Denim Off-The-Shoulder

Hey loves! Happy Tuesday!!

So here I am again with another custom-made off-the-shoulder top and there will be more to come. Of course, if I have the option to have something made verses ordering online, shipping, waiting etc., then I always choose to get it made, if I can. Off the shoulder tops are trending heavily at the moment and they are the perfect wardrobe pieces for the Spring. Paired with shorts, there are even better for sunny, beach days or lunch by the sea.

I decided to use the back side (wrong side) of this denim fabric to make the top instead of the right side because the right side was a very sharp blue. Perhaps I'll use the right side for something else.

At the end of the shoot I just couldn't deal with those heels anymore so I switch out into something a lot more comfy--my trusty white Converse

MY STYLE: Neutral Fall

Autumn is as joyful and sweet as an untimely end-
Remy de Gourmont

Just like black and white, in my opinion, the combination of white paired  with camel, tan or beige is equally as classic. It is one of those combinations that look great on anyone and transitions from season to season. I firmly agree that colours outside of black and gray can and should be worn in the winter. Afterall, colour brings light to any mood and we all know what the winter is like.

Of the few pieces that I purchased on my recent trip to the Czech Republic, I think this is my absolute favourite. As simple as it is, it is my favourite because it was so inexpensive yet the comfort and quality are just remarkable. Let's not forget to mention the colour....totally swoon-worthy.

MY STYLE: Casual Contrast (Denim Shorts x Vest)

One of the things I love most about fashion is that there are little-to-no rules and pretty much anything goes. Fashion allows you to be as creative as your mind and courage allow you to be. You can mix vintage with modern, bold with bolder, contrasting prints like floral and stripe, and the list goes on and on. Outfits and pairings that you would least envision, turn out to be the ones that work perfectly well together.....kinda like this outfit--frayed denim shorts and a sleeveless long-line business blazer.

INSPIRED STYLE: Babydoll

Happy weekend darlings! It is absolutely no secret that I draw inspiration from everything-whether it is for my art, my style, my hair or simply just life. Today's look is an inspired one from Folake of Style Pantry. Many call it copying but I call it inspiration.

I'm usually pretty silly during my shoots. Here's an outtake

MY STYLE: Wild Thing

It's a public holiday here in the Cayman Islands, Ash Wednesday to be exact and I'm still playing catch up on my posts. It's a beautiful day and what I really should be doing is taking advantage of the day off outdoors, but first, let's keep these posts going.

Feet slipping forward as usual #slenderfeetproblems. Does anyone else have this problem? Once I'm wearing a pair of open toe heels, you can guarantee that my feet are going to slide forward. Nevertheless, I had to get a close up shot of these caged, Steve Madden heels. I absolutely love these heels but be warned, they are not all night or even walking heels, not to mention killer on the ankles but......they're sexy ;)

MY STYLE: Black on Black Peplum Hem

Hi dolls! Season's Greetings to you and yours. I'm sure that you are all excited for the holidays. Christmas happens to be my absolute favourite holiday of all. It's literally the most wonderful time of the year. Everyone (or most people) seem to be much happier this time of the year and I love it. There's so much cheer in the air, beautiful colours and bright lights.

After my recent blogging hiatus, I returned promising you that I would not disappear again, but unfortunately, I am still recovering from back surgery (thankfully only a minor one) and had to take wee break.

With all of that being said, here is a quick inspired style post for you. As you know, I love Wendy of Wendy's Lookbook and this was my take on her look she so cutely called- Mermaid in the City.

MY STYLE: ROGUE EN PARIS

Happy Friday and Happy Halloween to those of you who celebrate it. If you're out and about tonight, please be safe.

It's sweater weather and I love it! If you live in the islands like me, then you're uber excited around this time of year because things cool down just a tad. I love sweaters and I have amassed quite a few over the years. This one is so soft, plushy and comfy.

Oh these boots.......I (un)intentionally walked into a Steve Madden store when I was in NY for fashion week in September, and there they were, sitting on the shelf calling my name. Most people seem to see me as posh, 'uptown', well put together lady but at times, I do like to dress a little rogue. Although this look is still kinda put together, I love how to boots added a bit of edginess to the whole ensemble.

MY STYLE: Midi Tulle & Denim

Always wear your invisible crown

Whenever I'm in tulle skirts, I feel like a princess. I think it's because of the poofy, airy, magical feel of the skirt. In previous posts you would have seen me in the longer version of this skirt but I had to get the shorter version too, I just had to. Of course for a simple casual look, I paired the skirt with my trusty, go-to denim shirt.
