MY STYLE:: Denim Off-The-Shoulder

Hey loves! Happy Tuesday!!

So here I am again with another custom-made off-the-shoulder top and there will be more to come. Of course, if I have the option to have something made verses ordering online, shipping, waiting etc., then I always choose to get it made, if I can. Off the shoulder tops are trending heavily at the moment and they are the perfect wardrobe pieces for the Spring. Paired with shorts, there are even better for sunny, beach days or lunch by the sea.

I decided to use the back side (wrong side) of this denim fabric to make the top instead of the right side because the right side was a very sharp blue. Perhaps I'll use the right side for something else.

At the end of the shoot I just couldn't deal with those heels anymore so I switch out into something a lot more comfy--my trusty white Converse

MY STYLE: Comfy Casuals

A girl can never have too many pairs of shoes and that includes kicks/ tennis shoes/ sneakers or whatever you want to call them. If I had to choose between heels or no heels, more than likely I'd choose heels but there are times where I just want to kick back in a comfy pair of kicks.....in this case, Chucks ;)

MY STYLE: Stripes on Red

Coucou beauties. Hope you had a great weekend!

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous- Coco Chanel
When it comes to fashion, I believe that there are too simple words that spell class: black and red. Every female should own a LBD (little black dress) and a LRD (little red dress). Although this dress is a midi length and not so little, it is form fitting, simple and classy. As a matter of fact, it is the first red dress that I own (seen in this post). I recently purchased another one but this one is very special to me.

MY STYLE: Fusion of Blue

The mind is everything. What you think, you become- Buddha

If you stare at the pattern of this skirt long enough, you are sure to become dizzy. I love the how the varying shades of blue are fused together to create a wave type, tie-dye effect. To not take away from the beautiful blue 'waves', I paired this peplum skirt with a staple, the white button up blouse. Because I also didn't want to be too matchy matchy, instead of wearing white or blue shoes, I reached for my ankle strap neutrals and neutral over-sized hobo bag and off to work I went.

MY STYLE: Spring Stripes

Hi beauties:

A friend of mine invited me to her church today and although I'm never usually comfortable visiting other churches, I decided to go. It was a good service. After the service, I was able to capture a few shots of my outfit.

Did you go to church today? Did you enjoy the service?

MY STYLE: Comfy Sweater

Some days I like to dress up and some days I like to dress down and I think that sweaters can help you to achieve a dressed up or dressed down look; PLUS, it's sweater season.
I live in the Caribbean so many would say that sweaters aren't necessary because it's hot, but it's not always about necessity for me. If I like something and I want to wear it, I buy it. It's as simple as that.
This sweater is very light and airy. As a matter of fact, it's so light that you can see straight through it. Today was breezy enough to wear it and not feel muggy. I really like it and you will surely see it again.

MY STYLE: Red Midi Pencil Dress & Orange Blazer

Whoever said that orange and red couldn't work together lied. As I've said before, in the Caribbean, bright colours never go out of season. ;)
I love how this dress fits me. When I discovered that Dorothy Perkins shipped internationally, that was the end of it for me ;). My credit card was smoking. I bought this dress a while ago and wore it once or maybe twice. I chose to pair it with an orange cropped blazer and leopard print heels.
