MY STYLE: Distressed and Floral

How unlikely is the pairing of something edgy and distressed with something soft and feminine? That's a bit of an oxymoron isn't it?  Distressed denim was a heavy hitter on the fashion scene last Summer and has continued it's journey into this Spring. Although there are many variations and styles of distressed denim on the market, I just couldn't find one that I really loved so I made my own.  This floral blazer has a story of its own also. Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance- Coco Chanel According to the world wide web, the first official day of Summer is either June 20th or 21st, but in the Cayman Islands where I live, it's Summer everyday. White is always on trend for the Spring/ Summer, because its a no brainer that it is the coolest shade to combat the scorching Summer temps.  This outfit was by no means cool at all.
