Currently Obsessing....Hot Heels!

Hi, my name is Olivia and I'm a shoe-aholic with no intention of checking into rehab. 

One of my favourite online shopping sites, GoJane.com, is having a 50% sitewide sale today only. If you love trendy styles at more than affordable prices, then GoJane is the site for you. Not only are their prices reasonable, but the quality of their service and products are equally as attractive. I know this sounds like a paid post but it's not. I just love them that much.

I am currently obsessing over these heels and I cannot wait to receive them. With all the Christmas mail, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my shipment is NOT delayed.

Seriously though, aren't these babies absolutely gorgeous?? Which of them is your fave?

MY STYLE: Suspended

Have you ever gone shopping and nothing seemed to jump out at you or call your name? It happens to me all the time, especially considering that I live on an island with only a hand full of boutiques. This print palazzo, suspender pants didn't only call my name but shouted at me just when I was about to walk out of one the boutiques. Not only did it shout at me, but it was the only one and in my size. *winner*. You know how us women get when someone else has the same item as us.

It's been a tiring weekend. How about yours? Did anything exciting? I did! But I'll share that in an upcoming post...stay tuned.

MY STYLE: Caramel Apple

There is something warm and cozy about the combination of red and gold/ camel. It's the perfect Fall colour combination and it also reminds me of caramel apples, hence the name of this style post. In previous posts I confessed that I am awful when it comes to naming my style looks, but I instantly thought of caramel apples in the Fall with this colour combination.

I wore these red pants in a previous post and went on and on about how much of a dream they were. They have since sold out but I was glad to score them on sale when I did.

INSPIRED STYLE: Neutralizer

I trust that you had a beautiful Thanksgiving holiday well spent with those closest to you, and you remembered those less fortunate than you. Dare I mention all the yummy goodness that you indulged in, including those Black Friday sales. Did you buy much? 

We had a Cayman style, Thanksgiving potluck lunch at work which was oh so delectable, and that was pretty much all the eating that I did. As for the Black Friday sales, I did browse through a few of my favourite online stores that actually ship internationally, but wasn't overly impressed simply because there was a lot of Fall/ Winter wear that is pretty much pointless here on the island.

I am excited to see what you purchased though so please do share.

As you know, I am very fond of Blair of Atlantic Pacific, and this is another inspired style ensemble from her look, Neutral Territory. The reason I love Blair's style so much is because it is very similar to mine and I would describe my style as chic, modern, classy and....well, simply me ;).

This skirt moves like a dream. So flowy and princess-like and yes, it's another one custom-made just for me :), but instead of the usual 3" waistband, I got a wider waistband and a sash.

Trending: Heavy Metal (Metallic Heels)

This year's fashion scene has been saturated with bold style trends such as statement sweaters and sweatshirts, single sole heels, mesh, faux leather and now metallic pumps. I would venture to say that this year produced some of my favourite styles, which I will definitely carry in to the future, whether they are still 'in' or not. I am not one to follow trends so whether something is in or not does not have much effect on me. If I like it, I wear it.

This Fall, many designers such as Giuseppe Zanotti, Manolo Blahnik, Brian Atwood and others, showcased their latest creations and apparently metallic pumps were the big hit.

What are your thoughts on the metallic pumps trend? Do you have any favourites? My two favourites are the Christian Louboutin So Kate Specchio and the Jimmy Choo Anouk, both of which are sold out everywhere. I hope to find them before Christmas though. Wish me luck!

MY STYLE: Metallic

In this post, I told you that I would recreate the look that I wore for the meet and greet session of the Style Bloggers of Colour  Conference 2013 that I attended in Miami this past October. While I did sorta, kinda recreate the look, I changed the top and shoes. Hope you like it.

Isn't the skirt just the cutest? It's another tailor-made piece by my seamstress.
