Today's look is a reflection of how I feel....blah! Hopefully when I rise with the sun tomorrow, I'll feel a bit better. Actually, I should feel better because am going for a pedicure. Yay!!!!

Shiney Moss with a Christmas sparkle...

As I mentioned in my previous blog, I will be creating more Christmasy looks from now until Christmas so if you'd like me to create a specific look for you, feel free to send me an email or just post it in the comments section of this blog.

Today's look is similar to the "Blueberries that sparkle" look that I did but instead of using navy blue and silver, I used forest green and gold (from the Amo Urban Decay palette). I absolutely love green....in every and any shade. Green is a beautiful color. It signifies many things.

Blueberries that sparkle??

If am not creating makeup looks, am singing and if am not singing, am painting. I am a contemporary abstract artist and usually it's pretty easy for me to come up with names for my paintings but for some reason or the other, trying to name my different makeup looks is a struggle hence the uncertainty of this look's name. Blueberries that sparkle?? What is that? Either way, this is just a really super easy smokey eye look using navy blue and silver eye shadow.

The festive season is quickly approaching and metallic, shimmery eyes are definitely in for the season. This is my first of many more festive, Christmasy looks to come.

I think this look works for Christmas parties whether it be a staff party or a house party. It even works for clubbing. What do you think?

The Premier

I am terrible when it comes to keeping up with politics but tomorrow, Friday, November 6, 2009 is the premier of the new Constitution of our islands (the Cayman Islands) so it's being observed as a public holiday. Woo hoo!! It ought to be interesting.

Today, I received my Lime Crime makeup order and was over the moon at 1- how large the pigment containers were and 2- how pigmented the colors were. I was just watching the clock at work (tick tock tick tock) because I wanted to go home to play with my new colors.

I haven't quite gotten into the habit of swatching my colors but will list them nonetheless.

This is the look that I created and hope you like it.
