INSPIRED STYLE: Primary Bold

Happy Friday!

I must admit that I never thought of pairing red and yellow together, but when I saw this post by Brooklyn Blonde, I knew that I had to re-create my own version of her look. Her look is a more polished look whereas I was recreating a more comfy, not so polished look ;)

Granted, this combination reminds me of mustard and ketchup but this bold ensemble of primary colours works!

MY STYLE: Cobalt Spots

I haven't been in much of a dress up mood lately but this past Friday, I had to shake that mood off before I became too comfortable being frumpy. Even though this look was simple, putting it together was not. My migraines from hell are back and they have been kicking my butt so I been less than motivated to look decent. Do you have any natural remedies for migraines?

MY STYLE: Oh My Leather

Hi beauties:

This silly flu bug has drained me so much that I do not have the energy to dress up properly and blog.

I've never owned any leather clothing simply because although I can get away with wearing sweaters in the Caribbean, I am not certain how I would convince my skin that it is stifling because leather is stuck to it. :) Well, I saw this faux-leather skirt in one of my local shops and could not leave it there. You will see it again for sure.

MY STYLE: Dots & Stripes- Mixing Prints

As of late, I've been noticing that many fashion bloggers are mixing their prints and I cannot say that I have been one to mix prints but today, I decided to try and I think I kinda pulled it off.

As Folake of Style Pantry said in one of her blogposts about mixing prints, "be confident because by being confident, you have already won half the battle". There are many tips, tricks and rules about mixing prints but I'm not necessarily one to follow many rules so here is how I mixed my prints today.

This combination of dots and stripes is a cliche but gimme a break, I'm starting small. What are your thoughts on this look?

MY STYLE: Salmon Slit Back Blouse & Brown Skinnies

Can you believe it's Monday again?!? Wow, is it me or is time just flying by? I think it's the latter.

I intended on having a stay-at-home weekend but my plans don't always work out the way I intend them to. I ended up going to lunch with an associate from one of my company's overseas offices. It was a good session.

I'm also just realizing that something has gone terribly wrong with the quality of my pictures. They're hazey! Why??

MY STYLE: Animal Print Blouse & Black Pencil Skirt

Today's outfit isn't overly exciting but neither was my mood when I woke up this morning. I was and still am tired.....and it's only Tuesday. I did a bit of ironing last night so this morning all I had to do was throw on and go.
