MY STYLE: Tulle & Lace

From time to time, I'll go through the gallery of blog photos I have taken over time and sometimes I stumble upon outfits that were never posted. I first debuted this tulle maxi skirt here and it is one of my favourite looks.

I first saw this statement necklace on Kela of Kela's Kloset when we met at the Style Bloggers of  Color Conference in Miami in 2013. I instantly fell in love with it and was on the hunt ever since. I just had to have it. Totally swooning!

MY STYLE: White Knot

I LOVE white. There are no two ways about it; I just do. Once again, I stepped a little outside my comfort zone and I'm not quite sure if it's comfort zone or modest zone. I'm a modest dresser. I haven't always been but I grew in to it. When I was much younger, I had a navel piercing so I would take any and every opportunity to show my piercing and tummy. Nowadays, I prefer to leave a lot to the imagination ;)

White was a huge hit on the catwalk this Summer and rightly so, it's the most practical shade for the scorching temperatures this season.

Grecian braids are also trending heavily right now so I decided I'd try one on my locs and I love how it turned out. Do you?

MY STYLE:: Cool blue

Sandy beaches, warm sunshine, crystal blue water and palm trees are just a few blessings that I can enjoy any day of the year because I live on one of the most beautiful Caribbean islands, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. For many others around the world, they're slowly packing away their summer clothes and preparing for the Fall. I love the Fall and wish that we experienced that season here in the Caribbean but instead, Summer days last forever :)

INTERVIEW: Miss Trinidad and Tobago and Designer of swimwear line, Afrodesiack

Hey loves,

In my last post, I shared the big announcement that I recently joined the Afronoire team as a Features Writer for the Caribbean region.

My second feature was an interview with the fierce and multi-faceted Athaliah Samuel, former Miss Trinidad and Tobago and now designer of the swimwear line, Afrodesiack.

Grab a cup of something warm and have a read here.
