MY STYLE: Color-block hi-lo vest & Purple Skinnies

Hi beauties:

This is the second 'My Style' post in one day....hmmm, it's lovely to have time on your hands eh? It's pouring buckets outside today and I was meant to go to church but the rain was my excuse. I really hope to go next Sunday.

I had a client yesterday for wedding makeup. She is the cousin of the bride who also happened to be standing in the wedding. I feel that I work a lot slower when I sit to do someone's makeup so I usually choose to stand. Of course, with standing, one needs to consider comfort so today's outfit is what I wore to my client's location. Comfy but cute...

The pictures in this post (especially the last single picture) prove to me that I need to stop being lazy and use my Canon istead of my cell phone.

MY STYLE: Fushia Spots

Hey beauties:

How has your week been so far? Can't believe it's Sunday already.

I wore this outfit to work last Tuesday and all day I received compliments about the skirt....well, the entire outfit but mainly on the skirt.

For the last few photos, I have been using my cellphone to take pics but I think it's time that I stop being lazy and whip out the Canon for some proper quality photos......coming soon ;)

Blue tank & a Leopard Maxi

Today was a lazy Sunday, a very uneventful one if I might add, but I lounged around until about 4pm when KM and I decided to take the dogs to the park. Apart from being an uneventful day, it was crazy hot so I threw on a tank and converted one of my maxi dresses into a skirt.

I stumbled across this beautiful 2013 Spring/ Summer Collection by Oscar de la Renta in  Vogue UK online and all I have to say is that I need a few of these pieces in my life.

A Wedge on the Edge

Hi beauties:

It's hump day!  Mid-way through the week (already) and I'm loving it. Yay! I've been in a funk lately and desperately needed a pick-me-upper today so what did I do? I resorted to retail therapy (yup, I'm in need of rehab).

 

I've always been skeptical of these type of wedges because there is no real heel support but after I fitted them and took a few steps, I knew this pair deserved a new home ;). Tell me what you think. Yay or nay?
